MUMBAI: Digital and mobile entertainment company Hungama has furthered its tentacles into the digital monetisation space with exclusive tie ups with artistes.
Veteran singer Roop Kumar Rathod has signed a year long deal with Hungama.com, providing the website with three exclusive tracks last October. Says Rathod, I have assigned three exclusive tracks to Hungama.com and according to the contract, profits from online music sales will be shared equally between the artiste and website….
The concept of physical music is diminishing and gone are the days when music lovers bought CDs. The younger generation prefers downloading tracks through the internet and carrying in their music gadgets.
