Jean-Philippe Collard, a recipient of the Chevalier de la Legion d’honneur in 2003, is a pianist of international renown who has performed with leading orchestras and conductors over the last four decades. A prolific recording artist with more than thirty titles to his credit, his discography includes the Rachmaninov concerti, Etudes-Tableaux and Brahms Hungarian Dances (with pianist Michel Beroff). He has also played Saint-Saens’ Piano Concerti with Andre Previn and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, solo piano music of Faure, Liszt and Chopin and the first recordings of Mozart’s arrangements of the six French melodies with baritone Jose van Dam.
Olivier Charlier, a teenage prodigy, studied at the Paris Conservatoire with Pierre Doukan (violin) and Jean Hubeau (chamber music) His talent caught the attention of great artists such as Nadia Boulanger, Yehudi Menuhin and Henryk Szeryng Later, Olivier won prizes at several international violin competitions, including Munich, Montreal, the Helsinki Sibelius Competition, the Jacques Thibaud, George Enesco Competitions (Paris), Indianapolis (USA), and at the Young Concert Artists International Audition in New York in 1989 As a soloist Olivier has given concerts with major orchestras including the Orchestre National de France, Orchestre de Paris, Zurich ‘s Tonhalle Orchestra, The Hague Philharmonic, London Philharmonic, BBC Philharmonic, Hall Orchestra and many more. Besides performing, Olivier pursues an active recording and teaching career and records for Chandos, Erato, Harmonia Mundi and EMI. He has been Professor of Violin at the Paris Conservatoire since 1981.

Henri Demarquette was admitted to the Conservatoire National Suprieur de Musique in Paris at the age of 13, where he studied under Philippe Muller and Maurice Gendron. He was awarded first prize by unanimous decision of the jury and pursued his studies under Pierre Fournier, Paul Tortelier and Janos Starker at Bloomington in the United States . He began to perform from the age of 14 and at 17 he made his dbut recital at the Thtre du Chtelet. He was immediately spotted by Lord Yehudi Menuhin who invited him to play the Dvorak Cello Concerto in Prague and Paris at performances conducted by Lord Menuhin himself He embarked on an international career and has performed in capital cities with leading French and foreign orchestras. He is particularly interested in contemporary music and actively promotes rare works. His broad musical interests are reflected in his eclectic recordings which have won many awards in France and worldwide He was awarded the Fondation Simone et Cino del Duca prize by the Acadmie des Beaux Arts. He plays on a Goffredo Cappa cello dated 1697.
