Live Banned is a band. Yes, that is the name of the band. They are from Bangalore. Formed in 2011 and with countless shows under the belt, both public and private. The band has entertained audiences and hipsters across India with their humour, stage act, whacky costumes and a unique sound which fuses various genres, giving it all a bit of a light-hearted South Indian twist. Formed as a ‘Live only’ band that initially parodied popular film and cheesy pop music with tight rock, metal and electronic arrangements and creating mash-ups of well known hits, Live Banned eventually evolved their own sound and due to overwhelming popular demand released a full length album, ‘If you park here your tyre will be air out’.
