MUMBAI: Vh1, a 24-hour international music and lifestyle channel, is bringing Wyclef Jean to perform live first time in India for Vh1 Handpicked.
Jean’s tour will begin on 16 April in Bangalore, followed by Pune on 18 April and Mumbai on 19 April.Popularly known as a member of the legendary trio The Fugees, Jean has gone on to release platinum solo albums with hits like Maria Maria (with guitar legend Carlos Santana) and Hips Don’t Lie (with pop/Latino sensation Shakira).
“I have many Indian composers and artists that are dear friends. I have performed with them over the many years of my career as a solo artist and with the Fugees,” said Jean. “This is my first trip to India and I am hoping my fans will love to see me perform live.”
