MUMBAI: Chennai-based mobile VAS Company Techzone has renewed its exclusive content rights for the domestic and international channels from Viacom 18 for one more year. Viacom 18 Media Pvt. Ltd. includes MTV, Nick, international music channel Vh1 and Hindi GEC Colors. Techzone will provide pictures, videos, gossip and animations for the top programmes on mobile internet.
Among the programs on Viacom 18 channels, Big Boss recorded 100,000 downloads a month, while Khatron Ke Khiladi and Splitsvilla recorded 40,000 downloads each. Subscribers can look forward to another year of mobile entertainment from Techzone, which also has signed southern siren Namitha exclusively for the mobile platform. Last year, Techzone had provided another route for entry into the auditions of MTV Roadies and the Big Boss finale through a contest.
