NEW DELHI: A unique music concert was held in Kargil to bridge the gap between the masses in one hand; and the army and police forces on the other hand.
The ‘Harmony’ concert was organised by Police Kargil in collaboration with 153-Medium Regiment Apati at Auditorium Hall Kargil.
The concert featured Kargil’s first music band Broken Strings, and 153 Medium Regiment Band. The Broken Strings Band performed many Hindi and Balti songs while the Army band presented some scintillating Hindi numbers.

The house-full concert was attended among others by LAHDC Kargil chief executive councillor Haji Muhammad Hanifa Jan, executive councillors Aga Abbas Rizvi and Mohsin Ali, SP Kargil Rahul Malik, deputy commander-121 brigade Vivek Tyagi, commanding officer 153 medium regiment Rakesh Kumar, ADC Kargil Mozes Kunzang, ASP Kargil Jameel Ahmed and many district officers and prominent citizens of Kargil.
The organising Secretary of the event, DySP Istiyaq Ahmad Kacho, welcomed the guests and later presented the vote of thanks.
The audience lauded district police Kargil for the various initiatives taken by them to bring the youth and the public closer to police.
