MUMBAI: The city of Singapore is hosting rising stars of the world’s largest video sharing site YouTube who are attending and performing live at the YouTube FanFest.
Part of the week-long Digital & Music Matters conference which will discuss the latest breakthroughs in the world of music and digital entertainment, coupled with high-level discussions on the challenges and solutions facing today’s entertainment companies, the FanFest (held on 20-21 May) will feature a roster of 18 established and breakout global sensations with a combined subscriber base of 12.5 million and over 3.8 billion views.
Music Matters is a pioneering industry event in the Asia-Pacific region bringing together key players in the global music industry. This year’s programme features more artist showcases while zooming in on the latest in music streaming; global trends in the music industry; monetising content through the entire digital platform value chain and more.
“The two-night You Tube FanFest with HP showcase will include ‘live’ performances and ‘live’ debuts of new content makers from the United States, Indonesia, Thailand, Australia and more, as well as interactive meet and greet sessions between stars and fans,” organizers said.
The Digital & Music Matters conference will also be streamed ‘live’ for the first time (via www.allthatmatters.asia) giving industry players a chance to be part of the conference virtually from anywhere in the world.
