MUMBAI: On 8th August, Khar SOCIAL will open its stage to one of India’s most genre-fluid DJs, OG SHEZ, as part of its artist-first property, SOCIAL Selects. Created to spotlight rising artists and amplify fresh sounds from across the country, SOCIAL Selects feature handpicked rising artists, aiming to shape them into tomorrow’s superstars. OG SHEZ’s set promises a vibrant blend of afro-house, baile funk, Jersey club, and more; a night that channels SOCIAL’s community-first energy into an unforgettable, dance-floor-driven experience.
A self-taught DJ and music curator, OG SHEZ grew up immersed in the sounds of 70s–90s disco, pop, and slow rock but it was hip-hop that sparked her lifelong love for rhythm. What began at 12 with aux duties at house parties evolved into a full-fledged music journey by 2015.
Guests can look forward to an intimate, music-led atmosphere as OG SHEZ brings her distinct style to the console.
