BANGALORE: Music is a major part of the Airtel Bangaluru Habba this year. The 8th edition of the 15-day event organized by the Artists Foundation for Arts (AFFA) in association with Bharti Airtel, will be the confluence of a large diversity of people on a common platform to witness performances across all art forms. Eleven music related performances will be held at different venues in the city.
Performances of World Music by Laya Taranga, Swatantra Rock by Eka and Bollywood music by Kailash Kher are some of the events that have been planned for this year’s edition of the Habba.
Pandit Shivkumar Sharma, Guru Kiran, Kadri Gopinath, Dr Padma Subramaniam are some of the noted artists performing in the city during the 15-day festival. There will be no entrance fees for any of the Habba performances and everyone is free.

The Habba promises to be an exciting and entertaining offering for Bengaluru’s youth – with a number of activities and events designed to engage and involve them. The Karnataka Film Fraternity’s involvement in this year’s Habba will also add a flavour to the festival. Another important inclusion to take the Habba to another level is the IIM cultural fest UNMAAD.
