MUMBAI: If you are tired of going to regular clubs for live music, you can probably add some adventure to it by going to the Ladakh Confluence that is due to start from 15 – 18 July 2010 at Shey, Ladakh.
Held at the unique backdrop of Ladakh’s mountainous landscapes at an altitude of 11,500 ft, this annual event has received appreciation for its unique concept that focuses on spreading awareness about environmental issues.
This year the festival is being held in partnership with WWF-India, which is using the event to promote its concept of sustainable tourism. From a campaign against the use of plastics to promoting indigenous Ladakhi crafts, the festival fuses music and culture with the cause of the environment.

The artiste line-up for this year includes Karsh Kale, Manu Delago, Christoph Pepe Auer, Rajasthan Roots, Young Musicians of The World, Something Relevant, Jamie Catto and The Supersonics.
Over 2,700 people attended the festival last year.
