MUMBAI: Maestro Illayaraja has left for London for re-recording upcoming Telugu period-drama ‘Rudhramadevi’, which is said to be based on the life of reigning queen of Kakatiya dynasty.
“Illayaraja sir has left to London to oversee the re-recording formalities of the film. He’s expected to stay there for about two weeks,” said a source .
On Sunday, the film’s director Gunasekhar and lead actress Anushka Shetty met the maestro at a studio here and thanked him for the mesmerizing tunes for the film.
