MUMBAI: Jasleen Royal has not only won hearts of Indians with her soothing voice and chartbuster tracks, but has also grabbed people’s attention with her voice worldwide.
On the auspicious occasion of Independence Day, Jasleen posted a video of her jamming to AR Rahman’s famous patriotic song, Des Mere Des from the Bollywood film The Legend of Bhagat Singh. The music maestro loved her redemption and praised her on social media.
A very happy Jasleen stated, “I have always idolized Rahman sir. It’s been a childhood dream to work with him someday. I feel over the moon that he noticed my cover and liked it. I am beyond happy.”
