MUMBAI: Universal Music India is working with desi hip hoppers Hard Kaur, Ishq Bector and Dr. Zeus for their forthcoming albums.
Dr. Zeus of â€?Kangna’ and club hit RnB track Don’t Be Shy fame with Girl Band Rouge, has stationed desi music into a different league.
Hard Kaur has been one of the most successful solo British Asian entertainers in India, thanks to her music and reality show appearances on television She is working on her unnamed second album due for release early next year with Universal Music. The album would feature collaborations as big as international rap star Eminem’s band D12.
Ishq Bector, the Desi Hip Hopper seen in whacky videos, will be out with another innovative album next year. A mad scientist in the studio, IshQ is geared up to bring the best of his method-madness to play a brand new one in 2011!
Hard Kaur says, The last couple of years have been incredible for me as an artiste, offering me many opportunities to experiment with Bollywood tracks, hosting, dancing and much more! I’ve been overwhelmed with the support from fans and peers alike. I’m excited to be working on the release of my new solo album.
