MUMBAI: Fever FM would kickstart Music Mahotsav this weekend to commemorate legendary music director R D Burman’s birth anniversary on 28th June. The Mahotsav which will continue till 19 July will see the station playing a plethora of music including contemporary Bollywood music, Sufi, Hindi classical, ghazal and other genres of music.
Talking about the new concept, Fever 104 FM national marketing & promotions head Neeraj Chaturvedi, We wanted to give the listeners a month full of music and there couldn’t be a better day than R.D.Burman’s birth anniversary to kick start the celebration….
Music Mahotsav will be celebrated across all stations of Fever including Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Bangalore. The station would air interviews of noted singers like Asha Bhosle, Sonu Nigam, Kailash Kher, Raghav Sacchar and many more apart from the music.

Fever had recently taken RJ Harssh on board to host its morning show, â€?Dhinchak mornings’ for their Mumbai station. Talking about the new RJ Harssh Chaturvedi says, Talent needs to marry the station to produce good programming. We are very confident about RJ Harsh and RJ Sidhu who have joined us recently. Fever has also come up with a new genre of programming for its Delhi station. The station has started with first ever Stand up comedy show. The show which has started a week back in aired on the morning slot. This is a very innovative and interesting show, â€?Fever No. 1′, where RJ Lokesh interacts with three different and gives his funny comments on current issues. There will also be other guests on the show to enthrall the audiences and have them in splits… says Chaturvedi.
