MUMBAI: Big Music and Big Pictures have launched the music of Gujarati film, â€?Dholi Taaro Dhol Waage’, marking Big’s entry into mainstream Gujarati films.
Directed by Govindbhai Patel, â€?Dholi Taaro Dhol Waage’ is a saga of passion for dhol and love. Raju, a dhol player from the lower strata of the society meets Mansi, daughter of a prosperous Thakur. Raju has inherited the legacy of playing dhol from his father. With his passion for the dhol he wins her heart. However, they face opposition on grounds of tradition and social status. Dholi Taaro Dhol Waage is the story of Raju and Mansi’s journey to overcome all odds in pursuit of the love and togetherness.
Upendra Trivedi and Naresh Kanodia star in the film together for the first time. The film also stars Roma Manek, Feroze Irani, Nishat, Kesha, Ishwar, Reena.
