MUMBAI: In its zest to provide innovative and user-friendly content, Big FM celebrated Teacher’s Day with the kids of Akanksha Foundation in Mumbai.
In an interactive session with RJs. the kids shared their problems, with one wanting help in Maths, being terrible at tables the other seeking to get better at spoken English in order to become a ‘Badaa Sahab’. The kids appealed to the listeners to take on the responsibility of becoming their teachers and experience the joy of spreading the light of education in others lives.
Akanksha Foundation is a non-profit organization with a mission to impact the lives of children from low-income communities, enabling them to maximize their potential and transform their lives through education.
Big FM said in a statement, “Education is a primary necessity for every child and we are committed to help engage a larger audience and channelize efforts towards this cause. The timing couldn’t be more perfect with Teacher’s Day around the corner and the response has been superb.
