MUMBAI: Ram Gopal Varma is writing as well as directing a powerpacked film Rakta Chritra with Vivek Oberoi in the main lead. Ramu is known for his dark films but he has uncanny taste for music. Even in his earlier films he brought to light the voice of today Sunidhi Chauhan who became popular with Ruki Ruki in Urmila Matondkar starrer film Mast.
Now with his August release Rakta Chritra he is bringing to light a sweet melodious voice of classically trained Suparna Acharya which will remind people of the melody queen Lata Mangeshkar.
Born in Srirampur Hoogli District near Kolkatta, Suparna has acquired training from many legendary gurus and also worked as a vocalist with renowned Pandit Birju Maharaj.
