Now the actress is working on â€?Ek Onkaar’ – a spiritual offering where Monica has rendered her voice. The album is a compilation of the revered mantra of the Sikhs called â€?Mool Mantra’ which is one of the holiest chants from the holy book of Sikhism â€?Guru Granth Saheb’. It will be followed by 2 Pauris from Japji Saheb which speaks about the universality of God and the strong belief in destiny as depicted by Sikhism. Followed by the â€?Simran’ of â€?Wahe Guru’ that resound the ultimate exclamation of wonderment in the praise of the Lord.
The sound and mood of the album is attuned to listeners crossing all barriers of age, class & nationality. It promises to create a blissful aura of early morning serenity for those who seek peace during the early hours of the day.
Monica on the album: This album is homage to God as well as to convey my unshaken belief in Him which has helped me throughout the trials and tribulations of life. People think of me as strong and brave but I was totally lost till I surrendered myself to Him and started praying and believing in Him. As they say faith can move mountains & that I’ve truly experienced. Hence with this album and a lot of guidance from Universal Music, I seek to reach this humble message across to everyone. I will be really honoured if through this small endeavour of life, people are inspired to have ultimate faith in the Almighty Lord…. Monica will be giving the entire amount as charity which she will earn from this album….
