MUMBAI: Radio Mirchi listeners experienced a bright Wednesday morning when Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the highly respected and versatile director, was heard conversing and sharing anecdotes about his latest venture, ‘Guzaarish’ with the spirited RJ Jeeturaaj, live on air!
Through the engaging tete-a-tete, RJ Jeeturaaj brought out the passionate musician in Sanjay Leela Bhansali who marks his foray into music direction with his latest release. The doyen of Indian cinema admitted that he is a great fan of Lata Mangeshkar. Sanjay said, “Her songs have always fascinated me. Thanks to her, I was inspired to bring out the musician in me by composing songs of Guzaarish.”
Mirchi listeners were also thrilled to know that Hrithik Roshan essays the role of a Radio Jock besides playing a magician in ‘Guzaarish’. Apart from listening to the songs of Guzaarish, Mirchi listeners also got an exclusive opportunity to make a guzaarish to Sanjay Leela Bhansali to play out their favourite songs on air. On being quizzed about his marriage plans, the artistic director revealed that he would want his wife to be a blend of the qualities of his leading ladies.
