MUMBAI: Madhurita Sarang Dance Music & Festival 2009 (MSDMF) is celebrated every year by Shri Sandeep Mahavir as a tribute to Shushri Madhurita Sarang his Mother and Guru. Juhi Chawla, Ismail Darbar, Roop Kumar Rathod , Taufiq Qureshi and various other celebrities/dignitaries will also be present to witness the occasion
The event will be on 23rd April 2009, 7 pm onwards at Ravindra Natya Mandir, Prabhadevi-Mumbai.

MSDMF is a rare occasion to have the all artists of Indian Classical Music in a form of Jugalbandi performing on a single stage. This is the 3rd year after having it successfully done from past 2 years in Mumbai and Delhi in which Highness Shri S. M. Krishnaji, Governor of Mumbai awarded Padmavibhushan Pandit Birju Maharajji and Chief Justice of India, Shri P. P. Neolekarji awarded Shrimati Uma Sharma.
MSDMF 2009 will witness tribute from eminent performers including National Award winner Padmashri Shobhana Chandrakumar. Followed by a first ever classical performance by the Chak De India fame, Vidya Malvade, Ranjit Barot an artist of instinctive musicality gifted with absolute mastery of the instrument, the well known Kathak dancer, Sandeep Mahavir and a performance by Manganyar group of Jaisalmer.
MSDMF 2009 awardees are the Kathak Queen of all night Shrimati Sitara Devi and the Maestro of Sarangi Ustad Sultan Khan Sahab.
