MUMBAI: Digital Media Wire announced today that classical crossover pop sensation Giorgia Fumanti will perform and discuss the transitioning state of the music industry from an accomplished artist’s perspective at the Digital Music Forum East (www.digitalmusicforum.com/east) at the Museum of Jewish Heritage in New York on February 25th, 2010, at 11:00 AM

Giorgia Fumanti has a unique viewpoint and story to share with conference attendees. Once signed to a major record label as a priority artist, she got caught up in its corporate downsizing when it was acquired. A PBS television special “Heavenly Voices” was produced to accompany her album release and the label expected her to be their next super star.

After meeting in Cannes at the recent music industry confab MIDEM, Giorgia Fumanti’s manager, Maurice Velenosi, entered into a pact with digital media consultancy NVPR to help forge a strategy for her new album.

The song is used as a video and TV trailer featuring Giorgia Fumanti and Liao Chang Yong in the 2010 Shanghai World Expo ad campaign from May 2009 to October 2010.
Performed on Dragon TV in Shanghai (20 million viewing audience) for the 200 day countdown to the Shanghai World Expo as well as performances at the Shanghai International Arts Festival and for Sennheiser China.
