MUMBAI: Mumbai’s lifeline on the airwaves, Fever 104 FM tied up with BEST – Mumbai’s lifeline on road, to celebrate BEST’s 61st anniversary.
As part of the celebrations, Fever 104 and BEST have launched the BEST ‘Museum on Wheels’ – an open double Decker bus showcasing various artefact, photographs, prints and mementoes that depict the history and culture of Mumbai and also demonstrates the various BEST milestones over time. This ‘Museum’ will move around the city, and bring the contribution of BEST over the years closer to the people.
Today, Fever 104 FM has gone live from the ‘Museum on wheels’ to bring BEST closer to its listeners and create a positive connect between the two. Fever 104 FM also promoted BEST on-air by focusing on its various highlights and milestones throughout the years.
As part of the innovative initiative, Fever RJs will be hosting shows LIVE from the “Museum-On-Wheels” for the entire day, and they will keep announcing the Route Plan of the bus, asking Mumbaikars to board the bus at any point during its journey across the city. Fever RJs would also play games & contests with the passengers travelling in the bus to make it cherish able and exciting journey!
Speaking on this unique and innovative initiative, Fever 104 FM’s station head, Alok Singh said, “As the FM station of the city, it has always been our endeavour to recognise and promote all individuals and organisations that have given the city its present shape. And we believed that a moving museum will create public awareness about the efforts put in by BEST and would be a befitting tribute to this silent crusader.”
The museum will cover the following destinations – Colaba, Nariman Point, Churchgate, Girgaon, Byculla, Lower Parel, Worli, Mahim, Bandra west, Khar, Santacruz, Juhu, Andheri (West & East), Goregaon (West & East), Malad (West & East), Jogeshwati (East), Sakinka, Ghatkopar (West), Kurla (East), Chembur, Sion, Wadala.
