MUMBAI: Even as Big FM refused to give up its lead in Bangalore, Radio Mirchi continued its reign in the other three metros in week 36.
Bangalore: Big FM suffered a setback, losing 0.7 percentage points during the week but still ended at first place with a share of 18.1 per cent. Mirchi followed close behind, having gained 1.3 points, and landing a share of 17.4 per cent. Fever has been hot on the heels of both, gaining one percentage point during the week and ending with a share of 15 per cent. AIR’s FM Rainbow station stayed ahead of private stations Radio City and Red FM (the erstwhile SFM) and Radio One, with a share of 12.7 per cent.
Delhi: Mirchi stayed ahead of the game with a share of 24.7 per cent, having gained 0.7 percentage points during the week. Fever has been hot on its heels in the capital too, despite having lost 0.1 points, it ended the week with a share of 22 per cent. AIR’s FM Gold was a distant third despite having gained 0.3 percentage points, while Red FM lagged at fourth place with a share of eight per cent, having lost 0.9 percentage points during the week. Radio City, Radio One and Big FM followed.

Kolkata: Mirchi consolidated its position slightly during the week, gaining 0.7 points and ending the week with a share of 20 per cent, while Big FM slipped 0.9 points, to end the week with a share of 16.2 per cent. Friends stayed at third place losing 0.9 points and ending with a share of 13.7 per cent. Aamar stayed ahead of Red FM, with a share of 10.2 per cent.
Mumbai: The leaders continue to lose share, but the equation stayed the same. Radio Mirchi lost 0.4 points to end with a share of 17.7 per cent, but stayed ahead of Red FM which lost 0.6 points and ended with a share of 15.2 per cent. AIR’s FM Gold also lost 0.7 points and ended third with a share of 12.5 per cent. Radio City lost 0.6 points and ended with a share of 11.9 per cent. Big FM and Fever both gained 0.4 and 1.4 percentage points respectively.
