Every time he puts a guitar in his hands – Wayne Krantz walks on a musical high wire. Few musicians are capable of handling, or willing to face, the degree of risk Krantz throws himself into so intently.
Krantz Carlock Lefebvre features Krantz as one-third of a longstanding trio that also includes drummer Keith Carlock and bassist Tim Lefebvre, which was first convened in 1997.
Previously, they have released live recordings through Krantz’s website, but in 2009 they released their first studio-recorded album.
The result is Krantz’s most personal statement yet, more strongly rooted in composition while still rich with the improvisational nuances that make his live performances so riveting.
RICOLOOP
RicoLoop is a “one man jam”. He spontaneously creates musical compositions using many different instruments and objects, including guitar, bass, keyboard, melodica, harmonica, and glass bottles, along with his voice (singing and beat-boxing). He plays and records a segment of music, which then repeats continuously. He then plays another segment of music and layers it on top of the previous one. With each layer the composition becomes more complex. This is a new and totally unique technique of live-producing, showing the audience how music is compiled and arranged,and exploring how rhythms and melodies interact. His performances are crazy, wild and totally inspiring!!
MA FAIZA
A taste of the exotic, Ma Faiza was born in Africa and is of Indian origin. She grew up in London experiencing the beginning of Electronic Dance Music in the early 1990’s, and embraced the club culture as her own.
She has evolved into a global artist, a producer, a writer and one of India’s most successful international DJ’s. Ma Faiza has become an icon for the Indian Electronic music scene, and is one of the few artists from India playing at some of the biggest parties around the world.
Ma Faiza has always been fiercely passionate about Electronic Music, and with more than a dedicated decade under her belt devoted to the development of the Indian EDM scene, she continues to blur the lines by refusing to be limited by style or tempo.
Her varied, feminine sound encompasses many different genres of EDM, from full-on melodic psy-trance, progressive daytime grooves, dirty electro, cool minimal to also ethnic, organic and harmonic global inspired beats and blissfully enticing chillout sets. No matter what the style, she plays fun, sexy, uplifting and positive EDM that just makes you smile and feel good.
