MUMBAI: VYRL Originals’ new property Cover Star promises to keep the audience engaged with every fresh music that is being launched under its umbrella.
Speaking about the Cover Star initiative, Universal Music Group India and South Asia and EMI Records India senior vice president Vinit Thakkar said, “We look at every song as a dream and as an aspiration. It is always different from the previous one. I would thank my marketing team to come out with a unique concept each time and narrate this dream, which is an aspiration for the audiences.”
Further asking Thakkar what he envisions about Cover Star, he answered, “When we started this we were neither sure about the audience response nor the kind of participation, this will garner. At this point in time, we don’t know where we will go from here, but VYRL Cover Star is currently getting a phenomenal response.”

He further informs that there is another announcement coming soon. “There are some songs plus artists lined up for the rest of the year,” he concluded.
Meanwhile, the recent VYRL Original song, Sajna Ve has crossed over ten million views in just a week. As an extension to the Sajna Ve Campaign, VYRL Originals associated with Gaana.com to launch VYRL Cover Star, an extensive marketing initiative, which gave music enthusiasts an opportunity to perform Live in front of Sajna Ve’s celebrated artist Lisa Mishra and Vishal Mishra.
