With 10 years of touring and recording experience, identical Twins, Tegan Quin and Sara Quin, who form popular Canadian indie rock/pop band Tegan and Sara, are making their way to India this November. The sister duo will be playing gigs in Delhi and Mumbai, and will be accompanied by Canadian singer-songwriter and good friend Vivek Shraya, who will be doing an opening set at both shows.
Besides performing with Paul McCartney at Neil Young’s Bridge School Benefit in 2004, the sisters have, over the years, toured with bands such as The Killers, Death Cab for Cutie, Ben Folds and several others and have played at major festivals across the world like Coachella, Bonaroo, and Lollapalooza.
World no. 3 DJ Tiesto, remixed the catchy song â€?Back in your Head’ from their album â€?The Con’ in 2008 and also released their song â€?I Feel it in my Bones’ on his album in 2009. Grammy winning American rock band, The White Stripes also paid tribute to the band with their cover of â€?Walking with a Ghost’.

The sisters have a wide discography, having released six award-winning albums over the last decade. Their most recent album, Sainthood, released last year was nominated for the 2010 Polaris Music Award.
In 2009, they also released ON, IN, AT – A three book set of photography and writing, chronicling a US tour, Australian tour, and a collaborative songwriting experiment in New Orleans.
