â€?Cottonking Swarsanjeevan’ is a combination of different devotional music genres which has been presented in series of music albums and concerts by EMI Music. The two-hour concert is a blend of fusion music and contemporary stage arrangements by music composer Kedar Pandit and Pandit Sanjeev Abhyankar who has rendered Hindi Bhajans, Marathi Abhangs and Hindustani Classical for the album.
Pandit Sanjeev Abhyankar, a disciple of Pandit Jasraj, has established himself as a major exponent in the world of Indian Classical Music. Pandit Sanjeev Abhyankar is a Hindustani classical music vocalist of the Mewati Gharana. He won the National Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer in 1999, for his song, â€?Suno Re Bhaila’ in Hindi film ‘Godmother’.
