‘Shell Shocked’ features Juicy J, Wiz Khalifa and Ty Dolla $ign

MUMBAI: Atlantic Records has announced the release of Juicy J, Wiz Khalifa and Ty Dolla $ign (Feat. Kill The Noise & Madsonik) ‘Shell Shocked’, the first single from Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies’ upcoming motion picture, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The track – produced by Madsonik (a.k.a. acclaimed film composer Brian Tyler) & Kill the Noise (Skrillex, Duck Sauce, Korn) premiered on Complex.com and is available today at all leading digital providers; Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arrives in theatres nationwide on Friday, 8 August.

“[Paramount] heard about how big of a fan I was of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and their whole legacy,” says Wiz Khalifa. “I actually have Donatello tattooed on my leg, so when they asked me to do it, just being a fan and being a musician, it made sense. In my generation, I think everyone who listens to me loves the Turtles as much as I do, so it just made sense.”

“It’s hella crazy being included in the music for the Ninja Turtles movie,” says West Coast singer/songwriter/producer Ty Dolla $ign. “You know, being a fan and everything, this is super surreal. ‘Shell Shocked’ is so different from what people are used to hearing from Ty Dolla $ign. Plus, Wiz and Juicy killed it like they always do. It’s a perfect song for this movie.”

“I grew up on the Ninja Turtles, so when I heard about this, I knew it would be dope,” says Juicy J. “The special effects and art in this movie are crazy and producer Michael Bay is a legend. I’m excited to be a part of this film on the ‘Shell Shocked’ track with Wiz and Ty.”
