`Kabhi Kabhi brings out the versatility of Avadhoot. It also shows his skill in styles like rock, pop, folk and rock and roll with the numbers being romantic, dance tracks, item songs, sentimental and children`s songs
The album includes hits of Avadhoot like “Halu Halu Chaal”, “Khamakha” “Jai Jai Maharashtra” and “Din Pareshaan”. It also includes numbers like “Kabhi Kabhi”, “Aansuon Ki Khwaishen”, “Kankhiyon se”, “Koi Ho” and “Bandstand. All the songs other than Kabhi Kabhi have been composed by Avadhoot and Kabhi Kabhi has been composed by Prasad Shaste.
“Kabhi Kabhi” and “Kankhiyonse” have been penned by Chandrashekhar Sanekar and all the other songs in the album have been written by Avadhoot himself.
The Other album ?‹?“Sakhe ga Saajne a Marathi album is a compilation of the best songs in Avadhoots career. Nine of the 10 songs have been composed by Avadhoot himself which include hits like, “Tula Pahto Me”, “Thembhar Tu he Man”, “Paavsa Ye Re Paavsa”, and “`Sakhe Ga Saajne”. It also includes other numbers like “Aarth Mazya Bolanyacha”, “Ja Ghanano Ja”, “Taralale Dolyant”, Pahije Aahe Tase”, `Paat Vaakli” and “Sparsh Asphutase”.
The songs have been penned by Chandrashekhar Sanekar and “Paat Vaakli” has been written by Arati Prabhu while Vaishali Samant lends her voice to two beautiful Duets, “Sparsh” and “Paat Vaakli”.
Ever since Sagarika Music launched Avadhoot Gupte as a composer with “Aika Dajiba”, Avadhoot has churned out hit after hit in the form of songs like “Aana Dobara”, “Meri` Madhubala”, “Jai Jai Maharashtra”, and “Halu. Halu Chaal” in Hindi. He has also contributed Immensely to the Marathi music market over the past three years with Albums like “Paus”, `”Hi Saanj Sukhane”, films like Gomaal (as a composer) and many other films to which he has lent his voice.
