MUMBAI: Radio City received an overwhelming response for Garba Premier League which went on from 22nd September till 4th October across Gujrat. Hundreds of societies participated in this one-of-a-kind celebration.
During the course of 9 days of Navratri, Garba is organized by almost every society across Gujarat. To generate more enthusiasm Radio City brought to the people of Gujrat, the ‘Garba Premier League’. The contest was a resounding success with residents of 150 societies across Ahmedabad, Baroda and Surat coming together for it.
The various gifts and vouchers which were up for grabs were an added bonus apart from the fun and excitement that the contest had to offer. In Ahmedabad, the grand prize of Mahinda Centuro was won by Rahul from Desai Ni Pol society. In Baroda and Surat, stay vouchers at Rann Utsav worth Rs. 33500 were won by Naiya J Patel and Naimesh respectively.
The Garba Premier League bought to the fore the true flavor of Gujrat. The activity lived up to its name and promises to grow by each passing year!
