A community music project, Music Basti first began in 2008 to work with and empower street children through music. Music Basti actively involves youth volunteers, musicians and professionals in consultation, creation and implementation of projects that are achieved also through seeking collaborations and partnerships with non-profits and NGOs, educational and corporate institutions, and other collectives or individuals. With the aim to create positive values and life-skills including self- confidence, self-awareness, self-worth through expression and creativity, the project initiatives use music and arts to promote community building and development.
