MUMBAI: Gaana co-founder and business head Avinash Mudaliar has put down his papers after serving the company for five years. Post his exit, Times Internet has appointed Pawan Agarwal as the business head of Gaana.com. Agarwal comes with over 12 years of experience.
Confirming the news to Radioandmusic.com Avinash Mudaliar said, “Last month, I moved out from the organisation. I wanted to explore new start-ups in music business.”
Sources told Radioandmusic.com, “Mudaliar wishes to explore his first love for music along with his technological skills. He will be joining an organisation or will move to Bangalore to explore a new start-up soon.”
Prior to setting–up of music streaming service Gaana.com, Avinash joined the company as VP, creative, and content head in 2008. He had also worked as the editor in chief of In.com at Web18.
