MUMBAI: Actress-Singer Shruti Haasan who recently released her debut independent track, ‘Edge’ on 8th August is receiving alot of love and appreciate from all over the globe. The song has been loved by not only her fans but also B towners, celebrities like Hrithik Roshan, AR Rahman, Suresh Raina, Neha Dhupia, Rana Dagubbati, Namrata Shirodkar among others have all wished Shruti and congratulated her on her debut single by appreciating her hard work.
Edge’, is all about reaching to those corner of your emotions which are usually brushed under the carpet. It is a song about not being embarrassed or afraid of the passion and rage one has regarding love and life, the track has been created by shruti in lockdown and is a part of a EP which will be releasing by early next year.
Commenting on the love she is receiving from the fraternity, Shruti says “I’m so thankful and overwhelmed by the support from everyone ! It’s very very special when such talented people appreciate the song and the effort put in ! Really humbled .. the over all experience of the song being liked by so many people online and fans etc has only driven the point home that I want to keep making more music and working harder as always.”
Edge’ co-produced by Karan Parikh, has Shruti wearing multiple hats. Apart from penning and singing the song, She has recorded and shot the track as well with Siddhi Patel who is the editor and the director of the video during the lockdown.
