MUMBAI: Random Access Memories, the highly anticipated album of 2013, within few hours of its release became a streaming sensation on iTunes. The entire album went LIVE at wee hours on iTunes on Tuesday morning and ardent fans couldn’t conceal their excitement and began streaming since.
The deafening buzz around the album “Random Access Memories,” the duo’s first album in eight years is a testimonial enough of the bands iconic status for the noise it’s making on social media with tweets and updates floating online.
“Get Lucky” broke Spotify’s streaming records, and it shot to the top of the iTunes charts few minutes post release. Looking at the magnificent response the album has created on iTunes, Daft Punk’s RAM is sure to be a the album of 2013 and a pop culture landmark.
