MUMBAI: Viacom18’s Marketing Manager for Vh1, Bikram Bindra has moved to Saavn.
Bindra, with over seven years of work experience, quit Viacom18 on 16 January 2017 and joined Saavn as Lead, Content Marketing on 23 January 2017.
Speaking about it, Bikram said, “The position they proposed was considerably challenging and exciting. This is the right place as I have been inclined to music since childhood. I listen to every genre of music and it is a great feeling to work with people who have a profound knowledge of music and business. When you are moving, it is all about what you’re going to learn and what you’re bringing to the plate, also what you’re taking back home.”

Explaining his role at Saavn, Bikram stated, “In Vh1 we were bringing together international content and transforming them for the Indian consumers. Here in Saavn, we create original content from scratch for Indian and global Indian consumers. It is not like any other app or music streaming services as it has its own curve with first of its kind original programming series as well.”
Sharing his experience of just a few weeks, Bikram said that people at Saavn are enthusiastic and hardworking, also very welcoming. “The right catalyst can always make you a better professional and that’s why I am here,” he signs off.
