Le-Rythme (An Organization of Promoting Indian Music and Dance) organizing a Musical Evening- ‘Nazrul Geeti’ – ‘Bandana-I Rabindra Nazrul’ presenting by Singer Rini Mukherjee On the eve of 150th birth centenary of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore & 111th birth anniversary of rebel poet Kazi Nazrul Islam.
‘Bandana-I Rabindra Nazrul’ to pay tribute to great poets-thinkers-statesmen of our motherland. Their contributions will be manifested through their own creations, in domain of songs, poems, quotes and will be rejuvenated with their video clippings. We feel in the present context, their contributions and thoughts have got tremendous relevance to reiterate the depth of our rich cultural heritage and to maintain the integrity with peace and harmony.
Nana-Range Nazrul (Nazrul in different moods) :- The versatility of Kazi Nazrul Islam will be presented through Nazrul Geeti of different moods (Gazals, Classical, Devotional, Patriotic, etc) by Ms Rini Mukherjee, the renowned singer of Nazrul Geeti with visual effects, scripts & recitations (by Mr Durgadas Bandopadhyay, Kolkata Doordarshan) along with the live voice and video clippings of Kabi Nazrul.
