MUMBAI: Richa Chadda’s upcoming film, ‘Cabaret’ is out with its first song, ‘Paani Paani,’ and Richa’s super stunning avatar is sufficient to intrigue us. In the song, Richa’s face is covered with a mask and she is sporting a racy corset and the diva is teeming with oomph. Sunidhi Chauhan’s captivating voice adds charm to the song. Directed by Kaustav Narayan Niyogi and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Pooja Bhatt, the film presents Richa as a bold cabaret dancer. It is rumoured that the film is based on the life of Bollywood’s famous cabaret artiste Helen.
Let us come to the song’s lyrics and the music. In spite of the fact that the dance number’s eccentric beats and tempo are intense, we feel that there is nothing innovative. Drenched in water, Richa looks sensual and she is swaying to the melody without any concern. Her seductive attempts will surely blow the audience’s mind. As the whole song is made in black theme, it gives us a mysterious feel.
Composed by Baadshah and lyrics by Honey Saini, the song is an upbeat, foot-tapping dance number with a captivating melody. And we are sure that this number will set the heat soaring even higher. It is slated that the film ‘Cabaret’ will release in theatres on 6 May 2016.
