The interest and enthusiasm of music lovers and connoisseurs to attend morning concerts led Pancham Nishad and Prithvi Theatre both active in promoting and developing the performing arts to come together to present Udayswar@Prithvi, a concert series of morning ragas of the second prahar. Held on every third Sunday of the month this concert series features various vocal and Instrumental artistes.
A renowned name in world music, Rahul Sharma is a musician par excellence and his renditions of classical and contemporary fusion has won him accolades world over. His melodies are divine and whenever he plays the Santoor, he weaves magic with the strings. Rahul Sharma, the son and disciple of the legendary Santoor maestro Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma, is supposed to be the heir apparent to the rich musical legacy of his father and is considered today as a youth icon.
