MUMBAI: Capitalising on its leadership position in Bollywood, T-Series proved its mettle once again and this time in regional music space. At recently concluded PTC Music awards 2015, considered as Grammy of Punjabi music industry, T-Series swept the awards with nine popular awards in various categories.
Let’s have a quick look at the categories where music label ruled.
– ‘Best Religious Album ‘- ‘Gurumukh Pyareo’ by Geeta Zaildar. The category of ‘Best Video Director’ witnessed a tie between Hardy Sandhu’s ‘Jokar’ and Preet Harpal’s ‘Black Suit’, both videos produced by T-Series.
– ‘Best Music Director – Album’ was bagged by Music Label’s superhit album ‘Folk Collaboration’

Punjabi music is no longer seen only in the regional space and can be heard regularly in mainstream popular Bollywood films as well. T-Series has and will always continue to support the Punjabi music industry and our passion for developing and promoting quality music has led us to discover young talent in Punjab, be it Singers, Writers, Composers & Cinematographers. These awards are a result of joint efforts of T-Series and the artists involved and is a testimony to our commitment in the Punjabi music space”.
PTC Music awards is an event that every single Punjabi artist looks up to & T-Series sweeping the major categories of the Award, clearly manages to show that good music is not only supported but awarded too.
