MUMBAI: Five-time Grammy nominated singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Skylar Grey releases a new single, ‘Cannonball,’ featuring her KIDinaKORNER/ Interscope Records label mates X Ambassadors, today (25 September, 2015) via all digital and streaming partners.
Grey has also shot a video for ‘Cannonball’ with X Ambassadors, which will premiere on Vevo in the coming weeks.
‘Cannonball,’ which Grey co-wrote with its producer Alex Da Kid, Sam Harris, Noah Feldshuh, Casey Harris, and Adam Levin, is also featured in EA’s FIFA 16 soundtrack, which was released yesterday (24 September, 2015), alongside songs from Of Monsters And Men, Beck, and Disclosure, among many others.

“Sam and I wrote ‘Cannonball’ about the power of will and how it can be an underdog’s greatest advantage. It’s one of my most energetic songs off the new album, but I am definitely weaving my folky roots into everything these days,” says Skylar.
Grey will hit the road for a U.S. tour with X Ambassadors kicking off 20 October, 2015.
