MUMBAI: The new track ‘Tomar Ki Naam’ by Shreya Ghoshal from the upcoming movie ‘Shaheb Bibi Golaam is a magnificent number. The music and lyrics of the song are by Anupam Roy. The video which was launched digitally on Tuesday, 2nd August, has become a sensational hit overnight.
Picturisation on the beautiful diva Swastika Mukherjee, the song oozes raw sensuality as she is seen doing everything from a scorching lapdance to a blazing belly dance.
The director of ‘Shaheb Bibi Golaam’, Pratim D. Gupta says: “The song comes at a point in the film when Jaya the simple middle-class housewife is going through a radical transformation in her life. She becomes a whole new person and she is asking herself ‘Tomar ki Naam?’ as in ‘What’s your name?’. In Anupam’s imaginative lyrics the song turns from one woman’s metamorphosis into an identity check of womanhood at large.”
