MUMBAI: Radio Mirchi, India’ favorite radio station, recently announced its association with spiritual guru Krishna Das for his upcoming India Tour. With this, the radio station will exclusively live stream his concert on their digital platform Mirchi Devraag. Fans and aficionados of Yoga Chanting and Kirtans across the world will get a special opportunity to listen to his concert exclusively on Mirchi Devraag between 7- 9 pm on Saturday. Also, listeners can listen to his music exclusively on Mirchi Devraag online radio station, the only such station to do so.
Often referred to as the ‘Rockstar of Yoga’, Krishna Das is best known for his performances of Hindu devotional music. He has sold over 300,000 records. His music is traditional with a generous touch of modern instrumentation. He has taken the call-and-response chanting out of yoga centers and into concert halls, becoming a worldwide phenomenon. His album ‘Live Ananda’ was nominated for a Grammy in the Best New Age album category.
Mirch Devraag is Radio Mirchi’s online radio station dedicated to devotional songs and spirituality. As a radio partner, Radio Mirchi is also giving out concert passes to a few lucky fans of Krishna Das to experience the art of yoga chanting live.
