MUMBAI: Following the release of Party Up (Up in Here) the mysterious producer collective DARKO now releases their remix Ready For Love.
An instant dance/pop crossover hit, the song is lead by strong horns, a thumping bassline, percussive beats, and a powerful vocal performance by Mahkenna. DARKO’s remix production is the perfect complement to the talents of the up-and-coming singer.
DARKO’s collaboration with Mahkenna was a very organic. The 17 year singer has been featured on tracks with Dannic and The Golden Pony reaching over 3 million Spotify plays. Mahkenna is currently being vocally coached by Seth Riggs. He has worked with Prince, Madonna, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles and more.

DARKO is an LA based team that was established in early 2018 and signed to the ADIO Music Group. Since the release of their first single No Names featuring Evante and Mozzy, they’ve been in much demand working solid all year round. DARKO recently performed at SXSW at the Colours Couture showcase, and will be attending 2019’s Miami Music Week.
Their remix of Ready For Love is just the start for DARKO. Next up on their release schedule is their collaboration with Destructo, Hustler, featuring the vocals of legendary Ice-T out on Wednesday, 27 March. Over the next three months, DARKO has releases lined up with Christina Milian, Tyga, and Waka Flocka Flame.
