MUMBAI: This year’s Spiritual Morning concert by Pancham Nishad will be presented as a confluence of Carnatic Classical and Hindustani Classical music, the two schools of thought in the Indian Classical Music, to be presented by Ranjani-Gayatri sisters and Kaushiki Chakraborty respectively, the most talented, popular renowned vocalists from the world of Indian Classical Music. This unique event is scheduled, to be held at the heritage site, Gateway of India on Sunday, 6 January, 2019 at 6.30 am. The concert is non-ticketed and open to all music lovers.
The co-artiste for the concert are Ajay Joglekar on (Harmonium), Ojas Adhiya on (Tabla), Vitthal Rangan on (Violin) and Saigiridhar Kuchibotla on (Mridangam).
The event is presented by Tata Capital and co-sponsored by Bank of Baroda, All Cargo Logistics Ltd, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd., and supported by Cultural Ministry of Maharashtra and Mumbai Port Trust.

Year after year since 2002 the concert begins at the stroke of sunrise and as the sun becomes brighter the maestros perform some of the choicest of ragas enthralling the audiences in ecstasy.
This event has witnessed performances by some of the legendary and eminent artiste of Indian Classical Music like Pandit Jasraj, Kishori Amonkar, Hariprasad Chaurasia, Shivkumar Sharma, Amjad Ali Khan, L. Subramanium, Zakir Hussain, Rashid Khan, Rajan –Sajan Mishra and Shankar Mahadevan to name a few.
