India, 31 March 2020 – Percept Live, the creators of Sunburn, Asia’s biggest music festival, launched ‘Bollyboom @ Home’, an innovative Live Streaming venture, designed to reach out to thousands of Bollyboom music fans with an aim to drive the ‘Social Distancing’ rules and lockdown mandate enforced by governments pan India in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic.
The very first edition of ‘Bollyboom @ Home’ Live Stream took place on the Bollyboom Instagram and Facebook handles on Saturday 28 March 2020 from 7.30 pm onwards and featured the scintillating live act of Avanti Nagral along with popular Bollywood DJs Paroma and Hardik. Given the #SocialDistancing and curfew rules enforced since mid-March 2020 many on-ground live entertainment options were cancelled across India. The ‘Bollyboom @ Home’ Live Stream came as a fabulous entertainment option for Bollywood music fans over the weekend.
The very first ‘Bollyboom @ Home’ Live Stream received an overwhelming response with thousands of views, shares, likes, and comments online. An ecstatic DJ Paroma tweeted post-show, “I went live for the very first time last night with Bollyboom India to play my set and we had a crazy response. With 115,000 views, 350 shares, 4000 likes, and 2000 comments, this couldn’t have been any better.”
