MUMBAI: Set your spirits high as the New Wave Musicfest returns with its second edition, with a bigger, better and exciting prospects!
Vans New Wave Musicfest Asia, a music festival which focuses on finest Indie and Punk talents from India and the continent of Asia, will continue to stick to its reputation and feature some of the most promising and talented musicians who are known for creating best edgy music in their genres for the past years.
The second edition of the Vans New Wave Music fest will be a pocket friendly, conveniently located music festival and finds a new home in the city of Bengaluru. The three day festival is scheduled in 2016 in Bengaluru on 25th, 26th and 27th December, 2016.

After one spectacular inaugural year, this year New Wave aims to create space that will discover fresh indie and punk music across Asia. With bands from Thailand, South Korea and Malaysia, New Wave took it up a notch in its ambition to create a space that discovers the best indie/punk music from across Asia.
The first edition showcased 66 artists featuring on three live stages. The musicians hailed from Japan, Thailand, Dubai, Malaysia and South Korea. It features artists including including Shonen Knife (Japan), Kyoto Protocol (Malaysia), Sky Rabbit, Peter Cat Recording Co., The Supersonics and Bombay Bassment.
