NEW DELHI After the tremendous success of the first two seasons, MY FM has announced its third edition of Jiyo Dil Se Awards to recognize and honour the unsung heroes of the society. Launched in 2012 these awards are for the common man for their indomitable contribution in bringing a positive difference in people’s lives in various fields.
The call for entry has started across all the 17 stations, a dedicated microsite has been made from where people can download the nomination form and submit the entry with details at MY FM office in the city. Individuals applying for the awards will be judged on various parameters like innovation in their initiatives, the impact they created, scalability and sustainability of the initiative and the challenges faced while executing the initiative.
There are nine award categories with a single thread binding them, that of individuals’ contribution to society:

The first 2 editions saw rise of 18 winners each; each truly inspirational stories and how people have contributed to the betterment of the society. There has been phenomenal response from the listeners and they have come out wholeheartedly to support their heroes who are as common as them but doing something very unique and contributing to the society.
A 360 marketing campaign has been launched to promote Jiyo Dil Se Awards using print, radio, digital, Press stories to reach out to the common man. The scale of Jiyo Dil Se Awards will be much bigger this year reaching out in all MY FM markets. The Jiyo Dil Se Awards will be concluded at a gala event ceremony which will see performances from artistes and participation of prominent personalities from various walks of life.
MY FM CEO Harrish Bhatia said, “This is the 3rd year of our flagship property, the response we got in the earlier seasons was very encouraging and some really unique stories came forth. This year as well we have set out to look for these unique stories from the common man. The stories that have come out have been such a revelation that it has convinced us to go to our markets with triple the gusto for our third edition. These winners are clear “Jiyo Dil Se” personality
MY FM national programming head Viplove Gupte added, “In last 2 years, we have gone to the deep interiors of our state and have found people who are doing extra ordinary work for the betterment of society, and not out of any compulsion or any pressure but out of their own will. These ordinary people are exemplary, their achievements are exemplary, their work is path breaking, their dedication is worthy of admiring. We try to find heroes in these people. We try to find people whom the society can emulate and then we honour such heroes. “
