MUMBAI: Musikki has today launched its Music API, allowing developers access to Musikki’s real-time catalogue of music data, offering contextual musical info and providing new ways of musical discovery and recommendations.
Musikki is based on a proprietary algorithm that matches music data, content and information to the right artist, album or song by pulling multiple APIs and aggregating all the information into one dataset. The new Music API will allow selected partners access to the ever-growing catalogue of data and integrate this within their apps.
Joao Afonso, co-founder and CEO of Musikki, says, ‘With the Music API launch, we’re committed to extending our real-time catalogue of music data to developers, allowing their apps full access to an endless number of unique entries. How we differ is, while a typical music database only provides standalone music data, our Music API connects data, context, news and social information in real-time.’
