MUMBAI: LR Active Oil BIG Marathi Entertainment Awards powered by Bharathi Cement in association with New Nokia 501 is a first-of-its-kind entertainment awards ceremony, which felicitates and acknowledges the extraordinary talent in the Marathi entertainment industry across 21 unique categories that include film, television, theatre, and music. This unique property not only honors legendary artists from the Marathi industry but also extends an opportunity to the entire fraternity to come together and celebrate outstanding contributions and remarkable journeys in the industry. The show will be telecast on ETV Marathi on 13th October at 6-30 pm onwards.
The awards show, held today at Bandra’s Rangsharda Hotel, witnessed immense support from stalwarts such as Ishaa Koppikar, Sachin Pilgaonkar, Ashok Saraf, Mrinal Dev-Kulkarni, Sudesh Bhosle, Sadhana Sargam, Anuradha Paudwal, Ramesh Deo, Ajinkya Deo, Abhinay Deo, Kranti Redkar, Siddharth Jadhav, Umesh Kamat, Supriya Pathare and many more.
The evening saw attendance from nominees including Mahesh Manjrekar, Sonali Kulkarni, Manasi Naik, Sachin Khedekar, Usha Jadhav many more.

The ceremony bought together some of the most talented Marathi stars on one platform to witness the greatest extravaganza in the much loved and widely followed Marathi Industry. The awards were presented to the finest talent through votes received from jury members – actor Vinay Apte, eminent Marathi stage actress Vandana Gupte, and renowned film and theatre personality Bharat Dabholkar.
Welcoming the celebrities on the red carpet were our very own Spruha Joshi and Nilesh Sable. Playing perfect hosts, they got the artists to share their enthusiasm for the awards and also guess the names of the winners across categories! Spellbinding performances and stunning acts by popular stars added dynamism and energy to the entire ceremony.
The show began with a beautiful Ganapti act by Pushkar Jog. In addition to this, Siddharth Jadhav mesmerized the audience with his captivating retro act. Abhijeet Kelkar & Prathana Behere paid a tribute to legendary actor Ashok Saraf by performing a medley on his popular songs. Other performer included Manasi Naik, Kranti Redkar, Umesh Kamat, Isha koppikar and a stand up skit by Hemant Dhome , Priyadarshan Jadhav & Supriya Pathare
