MUMBAI: UK DJ and producer Corey James delivers his anthemic new production Back In Time featuring the vocals of HENKO, on Steve Angello’s SIZE Records label.
Utilising a rumbling build up with a huge progressive feel, the aptly named, Back In Time transports listeners back to sounds that echo the early work of Angello himself. With layered chords and a euphoric breakdown showcasing Corey’s diverse abilities, the Liverpool based DJ and producer recently signed to SIZE Records following a string of impressive releases and remixes on Angello’s well renowned label, with the SIZE boss stating, “Since I heard Corey’s music I heard hunger, talent and will. Once I got to know him I saw something that reminded me of myself when I was young. I’m extremely excited to see what the future holds and I’ll do anything to support him! Welcome to the family Let’s have some fun.”
Having built a reputation for menacing synth patterns and festival ready bass lines, Corey has rapidly risen through the industry, gaining support from dance heavyweights Martin Garrix, Tiësto and Nicky Romero. Last year, Steve Angello recruited Corey to provide a guest mix for his BBC Radio one residency show.
